The Howling
Artist
Richard De Wolfe
Medium
Painting - Alkyd On Canvas
Description
The cry of the timber wolf is a long and mournful howl, both chilling and exciting. Wolves can be heard most clearly on cold, clear nights, across hills, rivers and lakes of Canada and some parts of the United States. Wolf packs become particularly active in the autumn of the year, when the pups have matured and are ready for the hunt, which will sustain them through the long, cold winter months.

Congratulations on this sale. Love wildlife paintings although most of my own lean towards birds I occasionally do some others. I admire the work you did here.
Richard De Wolfe replied:
I love painting birds as well. All forms of wildlife are precious and need to be admired!
